Oral care. Redistributed.

All of it

health.

Buckshot is a mouthwash company with zero profit extraction. Every dollar of revenue goes to community and individual mental health initiatives. No executives. No dividends. No VC.

"The oral care industry generates $7B+ annually in the US alone. Not one dollar of it funds mental health. Until now."
The gap we exist to close

Radical Transparency

Every donation published. Every dollar tracked. Monthly public receipts, not annual press releases.

Real Product

Clinically formulated. Actually works. We believe people deserve great oral care AND a clear conscience.

Grassroots Partners

Working with NAMI-affiliated community programs and direct-support organizations. Not big national logos for show.

How the money moves

You buy Buckshot

At market price. Better product than the legacy brands. No charity premium.

Production costs covered

Ingredients, manufacturing, packaging. That's it. No margins, no overhead.

100% to mental health

Every remaining dollar. Distributed to community mental health programs. Monthly.

Big brands use your hygiene routine to fund executive bonuses. Buckshot uses yours to fund mental health.

We're not here to guilt-trip you. We're here because mental health is underfunded, misunderstood, and still carries a stigma that keeps people from getting help. A $7B industry pretends it doesn't exist. We built the company we wanted to see.

This isn't a charity with a product. It's a product company with a conscience. Every bottle of Buckshot you buy funds therapy sessions, crisis lines, peer support programs, and community mental health access.

100% of every dollar, always

Your morning routine
can fund someone's
recovery.

Not someday. Not eventually. Every single bottle.

The 100% pledge is written into the operating agreement of the LLC itself, not attached to the founder as a promise. That means it survives any change of ownership — a buyer inherits the covenant, and the covenant binds the company. Independent counsel reviewed the language to be sure it isn’t waivable by board vote, and the current operating agreement is on file with our fiscal sponsor.

Every quarter, revenue minus the cost of goods, logistics, and legal/compliance costs is held in the company’s restricted donation account, administered by our 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor. The fiscal sponsor reviews the schedule, confirms each partner’s 501(c)(3) status via the IRS public lookup, and issues the grant on Buckshot’s behalf. We do not disburse directly — the fiscal sponsor is the paying party on every grant check.

Each grant is documented in writing: recipient org, dollar amount, intended use, and the date of disbursement. We publish the quarterly summary here so anyone can audit the cash flow from a bottle sale to a grant check. The fiscal sponsor also files the standard 990 reflecting funds received and forwarded, and we link the most recent 990 in the partner dossier on /partners as soon as it is filed.

Grant history

Q2 2026 $58,400
Grants to: Crisis Text Line, The Trevor Project

Largest quarter on record. Demand on the crisis text line continued to outpace volunteer capacity following the spring exam-season surge, so we directed roughly two-thirds of this quarter’s disbursement to overnight staffing and Spanish-language responder recruitment. The Trevor Project received the remainder to support its 988 pilot in three additional state call centers.

Q1 2026 $42,750
Grants to: NAMI, Crisis Text Line

Q1 funding went to NAMI’s In Our Own Voice program to expand the peer-presenter cohort in three rural states, and to Crisis Text Line to absorb the cost of a new platform migration. Both partners filed short impact notes — included in the investor updates section of this site — confirming receipt and intended use within ten business days of disbursement.

Q4 2025 $38,200
Grants to: NAMI, Crisis Text Line

Fourth-quarter funding closed out our second year with a $38,200 disbursement split evenly between NAMI and Crisis Text Line. The grant letter noted that the year-end push was scaled back intentionally to keep holiday-period fundraising competitive — a recurring note from NAMI — and the funds were applied against Q1 2026 grants in the partner’s docket rather than a separate spend line.
